Mission :
The mission of Ohio Boys Town is to provide a safe and nurturing home for abused and neglected teenage boys and guide in their development to become responsible young men.

About Us :
Many of the children referred to Ohio Boys Town have been in and out of foster care and/or have been shuttled between the homes of various caregivers. Some of these children have lived on the streets for long periods without access to proper nutrition, shelter, education, or health care. Many have suffered from physical abuse, sexual abuse, abandonment, violence/aggression, emotional/mental cruelty, educational neglect, separation anxiety, homelessness, and/or substance abuse/co-dependency. The older they are, the more difficult it becomes to find an appropriate placement for any length of time. The likelihood of remaining homeless, becoming incarcerated or relying on welfare is disproportionately high with this population.

History :
Ohio Boys Town was founded in 1953 “so no boy shall feel unwanted.” Since that time, hundreds of boys have called Ohio Boys Town home.
