Vision Statement

Our vision is to become a church that is dedicated to serving Christ by: introducing the lost to Jesus Christ; and helping identify, strengthen, and use their spiritual gifts to spread the love of Jesus Christ to the unchurched. We will become a high commitment church that stresses that membership does not bring privileges, but responsibilities. To become a church that ALL members must be regular participants in worship, involved in some form of ministry, and be part of a small group where accountability and equipping takes place.

Core Values

All people fall short of God's righteousness and are in need of knowing Christ.

Salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ

* No one can earn their salvation by doing good works
* Only Jesus can pay the debt for the sins of humankind

Jesus is the Lord of our lives and Church

* Decisions will be based on God's will
* Ministries must work toward accomplishing Christ's mission for the church
* Trusting in the power of the Holy Spirit to accomplish ministry
* Our ministry should not be limited by our human abilities

Purpose of the Church is to glorify God by making Disciples of Jesus Christ

* Reaching out to those who do not know Jesus
* Accepting non-believers as they are, but not leaving them there by introducing them to Christ and his teachings
* We believe that all people matter to God and it is our responsibilty to reach them for Jesus
* Clergy & Staff are to equip the laity to do ministry
* Be a permission giving church
* Making disciples who make disciples, not just members
