The Mission of Orchard Park Elementary School is to put children first by providing quality instruction in a caring environment where all students are recognized as individuals and are educated to their potential. School History:
Orchard Park Elementary School opened in August 2001 and stands on donated acreage that previously was an orchard owned by Springs Farms. It is located near Highway 160 and I-77. It is part of the Fort Mill School District, which consists of 5 elementary schools, 2 middle schools and 1 high school. It is located in the northeast corner of York County, one of the fastest growing counties in South Carolina. We are one of five elementary schools in the highly ranked Fort Mill School District. Orchard Park is a suburban public school located just outside the township of Fort Mill. We are located in York County, one of the fastest growing counties in South Carolina. We border the state of North Carolina and are in close proximity to the City of Charlotte.
Orchard Park Elementary School strives for excellence in every area, from hiring highly qualified staff to providing a stimulating learning environment where students have the opportunity to grow and excel. Many extra activities are incorporated into the core curriculum to allow students the opportunity to become responsible citizens and take pride in academic as well as physical and cultural achievements.
