About us:

Our passion for clean, nutritious and delicious food is what led us into farming, and it is our mission to deliver the best tasting and most nutrient rich food we can grow to our members. We are continually testing our soils and plants and monitoring our animals to get a gauge of what they need in order to stay healthy. The result is food that tastes better, and is more nutritious than its supermarket counterpart. We want our animals to live the way that nature intended, spending lots of time outdoors grazing, rooting, pecking and exploring. They live really wonderful lives, and the meat they give us is an absolutely delicious blessing.

Our farm was established in 2007 and has been providing outstanding, clean, delicious food for our members ever since. Our focus since beginning this farming adventure has shifted from vegetables to raising animals, starting in 2012. We have stuck to a CSA model to bring this product to families in our local area. It is our goal to make our products accessible to families - eating safe, healthy food should not be elitist!  Indeed, it has been gratifying to find that the majority of our customers are families with children, who want to know where their food comes from (and not worry about food recalls!)

Our pledge: All the meat that we sell has been raised on our farm, using the highest standards of humane treatment. Cattle are grass-fed and finished (NO grain); intensively grazed on our pastures during spring, summer and fall, and fed hay from our fields (not treated with any chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides) during the winters. Hogs are fed certified organic grain, fresh organic vegetables from our gardens, and whey and milk from our dairy cows. Chickens are fed certified organic grain, and are pastured, so also get lots of grass and bugs. All animals have access to fresh, clean water at all times.
