Pacific Intercultural Exchange is a non-profit program that assists in bringing students from around the world to the United States to study for a semester or a school year. The students come from Germany, South Korea, Norway, Brazil and China among many other places.  All the students speak English, have their own spending money, own medical insurance and range in age from 15 to 18. We also have scholarship students from Russia and various Arabic countries. Host families would provide them with a bed to sleep in (they can share a room), three meals a day at home (not including lunch at school) and treat them like one of their own. There is no typical family, whether you are single, married with no children, married with children or retired you can host a student.
