Mission:
To be an effective economic and political force for our membership
History:
The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and Civic Association is a professional business organization. Since the earliest days of Pasadena, the Chamber has played a major role in the development of this internationally renowned city. Since 1888, when the organization was founded as the Board of Trade, the Chamber's primary purpose has been the enhancement of both the business climate and the quality of life in Pasadena.
Pasadena is a community rich in diversity, historic architecture, arts, entertainment, dining, shopping and economic opportunities. As a representative of the greater Pasadena area, the Chamber serves as a resource for information. It is often the first stop for visitors, new residents, or businesses seeking to relocate or expand.
The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization that offers its members many benefits in addition to providing them an opportunity to serve the community. Membership in the Chamber provides many opportunities for networking that can increase business contacts, a "members only" referral service, access to advertising and publicity in the monthly newspaper or the annual Destination and Business Guide, and a voice in government affairs.
