Peconic Community Council is a coalition of organizations and individuals dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the highest level of health and human services for the entire East End community.
The goals of the Peconic Community Council are to:
Build and maintain a coalition of agencies, private practitioners, institutions, businesses, government and individuals who work cooperatively to maximize human services
Identify gaps in human services and advocate for their solutions
Act as a catalyst to creatively effect social change
Gather and disseminate information relative to quality of life issues on the East End
Network among members to utilize existing services efficiently
Insure the stability and financial integrity of the Council.
Peconic Community Council receives its funding from the Suffolk County Youth Bureau, Long Island's United Way, the Long Island Community Foundation, membership dues, the William F. Harnisch Foundation, the Harnisch Family Foundation, and donations.
