With an average student population of about 5,300, Penn Manor School District is one of the largest districts in Lancaster County. Penn Manor spans 113 rural square miles to the east of the Susquehanna River and encompasses five political entities: Millersville Borough and Conestoga, Martic, Manor and Pequea townships. As of 2010, total district population was estimated at 41,376. The corporate headquarters of both Armstrong World Industries and Turkey Hill Dairy are located within the school district boundaries.
