People Helping People started in 1972 as a grassroots non-profit organization to help meet the needs of local seniors.  We have evolved into the primary lending source of medical equipment such as wheel chairs and walkers.  We operate a weekly food distribution program serving 50 to 70 low-income people.  And we oversee and staff volunteers for the Salvation Army Bell-Ringing at Christmas in Los Osos.  Come join us for fun and entertainment at our monthly potlucks!
