We Believe:
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, and the final authority for all Christian faith and life.
God (The Holy Trinity)
We believe God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.
Jesus Christ (Son of God)
We believe that Jesus Christ the divine Son is true God and true man. Is co-equal with the Father, was born of a virgin, lived a perfect sinless life, ministered in word and miracle, died for our sin, was raised bodily from the dead, ascended to God's right hand and is coming again for His people.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict people of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.
Humanity
We believe people were created in the image of God, but are now separated from God by the universality and exceeding sinfulness of man, and that man is totally lost apart from Jesus Christ.
Salvation
We believe salvation is God's free gift (by Grace) to us but we must accept it (by Faith). We can never make up for sin by good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty.
Eternal Security
We believe that God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. If you have been genuinely saved, you cannot "lose" it. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian.
Heaven and Hell
We believe that Heaven and Hell are very real places. Heaven is a place of eternal blessedness, the dwelling place of God and the heavenly host. Hell is a place of eternal suffering that was initially created for the devil and his fallen angles but is now reserved for all who reject the offer of salvation through Jesus Christ.
The Church (Non-Denominational)
We believe that Jesus Christ established his church on earth to carry out his saving mission among all ethnic people groups and formed her to be one holy people. Associating and cooperating with other groups of Christians is essential to a healthy church, but we believe the local church should be self-governing and independent. In regards to our "church plants" we encourage each congregation to determine it's own strategy, structure, and style.
Baptism and Communion
We believe the teachings of the Bible and seek to follow them in faith and practice, we practice believer baptism by immersion under water and we celebrate the Lord's Supper every Sunday.
