About
The Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce was organized in 1978 and currently has over 400 members who have joined together to work toward mutual business and community goals. Funded through membership drives and fund-raisers, the Chamber depends upon volunteers working effectively to make the Pickerington Area a better place to live and work.
The Chamber is not part of the city, township or county governments, but is classified as a non-profit business association. The strength of the Chamber lies in attracting the greatest number of members, and creating a pool of resources from which ideas, energy, and finances can be drawn. Through membership in the Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce individual businesses can accomplish collectively what no one of them can do individually.
The Chamber is led by a Board of Directors which meets monthly to oversee the activities of the organization. Monthly luncheons are held for the general membership. Other special events, fund-raisers and seminars are held throughout the year.
The Chamber office is located in the Olde Village area of Pickerington. The Chamber office provides local community information, business directories, maps and other information of interest to both residents and businesses.
