The Northwest Campus, which opened in fall 2003, has been a hit among students, faculty and the community right from the start. The first thing that strikes many is the sheer beauty of the campus, with its southwest-style architecture and sweeping vistas of the Tucson Mountains and surrounding environs.
The cornerstone of the campus is the community partnerships and student-centered focus that went into planning the physical environment and, most importantly, the academic one.
Pima Community College’s partners enable the Northwest Campus to provide a wide range of educational programs and services. The full array of transfer-oriented courses is available days, evenings and weekends. Students can achieve a bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management from Northern Arizona University without having to leave the campus.
