Nestled in the Piney Woods  of Deep East Texas, Pollok Baptist Church is located approximately fifteen miles north of the City of Lufkin.  Surrounded by farm homes, pastures, and beautiful country scenery, the church building is located on Highway 7 West, approximately one half mile from Highway 69N. The church however, is scattered throughout the local communities.

Even though considered a small country church;  PBC has a big heart and great love toward worshiping the Lord God Almighty, enjoys fellowshipping with one another and other local  churches in the community, and welcomes visitors with open arms.

Pollok was a booming sawmill community around the turn of the 20th century. Settlers were in the area before 1837 but in 1886 the new railroad ran through Pollok and the community began to grow. As it thrived, a post office was later built, followed by a church named Warren Chapel Baptist Church. In 1896 this church became known as the Pollok Baptist Church.
