History

PCCF was formally established in 1985, when Carl and Bonnie Friedrich felt directed of the Lord to leave their Arizona home an business to begin a new church in Orange County, California. Founded in a small storefront building, the church grew rapidly as young people caught up in the drug alcohol and gang culture gave their hearts to Jesus Christ. These radically transformed converts began to catch the message from God's Word that they could change the world in which they lived, and began witnessing their salvation to anyone who would listen. Now 20 years later, PCCF has evolved into a dynamic church home to a vibrant multiracial congregation that has reproduced into a fellowship of 40 like-minded churches.


Vision

Growth has not altered the founding vision, which remains the driving force of the church. Heavily involved in world missions and church planting, PCCF continues to grow and expand at a rapid pace. The dynamic youth ministry, Youth Aflame was founded in c.1998 and now boasts a state of the art skate board park and youth center. Praise Chapel churches are now in three states as well as throughout Mexico and also in London England. Just one visit to the Orange County church will reveal an exciting, relevant and fun place to worship.
