Est. 1992, a tax-exempt, non-profit organization that seeks to impact the community by building a positive understanding of Puerto Rican heritage and culture through the promotion of education and advancement. PRHO coordinates the annual Puerto Rican parade and festival in Elgin (a.k.a. BoriquaFest), scholarship pageants, Dignitary's Dinner and other various relevant cultural activities for the public.
