The mission of Quarryhill Botanical Garden is to advance the conservation, study and cultivation of the temperate flora of Asia .
Mission Objectives
To promote awareness of the need for conservation of the flora of Asia both in situ and ex situ
To operate and maintain an educational and scientific center in the form of a botanical garden
To foster and encourage fundamental research with respect to the flora of Asia
To engage in fieldwork to collect wild source seed and herbarium specimens
To provide a living collection of plants from Asia for students of botany, horticulture and natural sciences
To distribute seed and herbarium specimens to botanic gardens, universities and other scientific institutions
To create a botanical library focusing on the flora of Asia
To promote the importance of biological diversity
