Rehoboth Reformed Church began to meet in June of 1998 in La Mirada, California to promote and defend biblical truth (1 Tim, 3:15). The original mission work was the product of a like-minded group of believers living in Southern California who, under the leadership of the Reverend Jay Fluck, desired to plant a church committed to the Word of God.In that same year the Reformed Church in the United States (RCUS) recognized and began oversight of this group of believers. We took the name of "Rehoboth" as a reflection on the passage in Genesis 26:22; "And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, because he said, "For now the LORD has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land."

The Hebrew word for "Rehoboth" means "room for us" thus Isaac said, "For now the LORD has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land." Through God's sovereign grace Rehoboth Reformed Chapel came into existence under the oversight of the Consistory of Ebenezer Reformed Church (RCUS) from Shafter California in June of 1999.

The initial membership of the congregation was approximately eight which Ebenezer received into membership as the mission work began. Since that time Rehoboth has continued to be "fruitful" in the Los Angeles area with additional attendance and membership growing throughout the years.

In December of 2000, the congregation, having grown in God's grace, moved to a store front on Beach Blvd. in La Habra, California. Then for a number of years God graciously continued to bless and grow the congregation and provided a facility in a very nice medical complex in La Habra, CA. We moved from there in December of 2013 to our new meeting place just off the 91 freeway in Cerritos. It is the Cerritos Elementary school and the address is 13600 183rd Street, Cerritos, California.

We are currently looking toward future growth and recently adopted the name Rehoboth Reformed Church, replacing the last word "Chapel". As of September 2, 2012 we have officially organized into a self-supporting and self-governing congregation of the RCUS.

We pray for the Lord's blessings, that He will continue to cause us to grow in grace and in the knowledge of Him as well as in love and service of His people and the lost in our community.

In 2011, Reverend Michael Voytek was called to pastor the church and continues to focus the congregation on the words of Genesis 26:22. Hoping to act as a refreshing well supplying living water to the Los Angeles area with a continuing reflection on fruitfulness, we follow the Lord and proclaim His word.
