River gallery is dedicated to promoting and sustaining Cleveland area artists, and has established strong connections with local schools such as the Cleveland Institute of Art, Baldwin Wallace University, and Kent State University. A diverse range of artwork is showcased, including paintings, works in metals, blown glass, wood, ceramics, and jewelry fabrications.
River Gallery has a rich history dating back to 1970 when it was founded by G. Ara Hamamjian's parents. Growing up in the midst of his parents' passion for the arts and their commitment to custom picture framing, Ara's love for the gallery only grew stronger over time. After completing his degree at The Ohio State University and furthering his knowledge at The Framing Academy of San Francisco, Ara purchased River Gallery from his parents in 1994 and has been at the helm for 29 years.
