The Hazlehurst Chamber of Commerce presented the first annual Rockin' Railroad Festival in downtown Hazlehurst. Hazlehurst native and Loftin Creek Records recording artist Pat Roper-whose hits include "Now We're Gettin' Somewhere" and "Somethin' 'bout that"- was the featured entertainment. Area musical artists entertained throughout the day with a mix of country, blues, gospel, contemporary Christian and more. The festival included vendor booths, a classic car show, a kids' zone, bar-b-cue contest, arts and crafts and more. The Depot museum was open, and the caboose was open for photo ops.
