From June 6th through November 7th for a total of 22 weeks, shareholders come to the farm to pick up their share. We strive to provide as much variety as possible so that our shareholders can have free choice of the produce available each week. Shareholders also have access to all of the u-pick flowers, herbs and vegetables in the U-Pick section. Everything in the shares is freshly harvested from Root Down Farm. The share will typically feed a family of four. Shareholder's are allowed to split their CSA share with others if this seems like too much food for you to handle in a week. In addition, if shareholders are unable to pick up their share, they are able to assign it to a friend or neighbor. However, if you are unable to pick up your share for any reason it will not go to waste. Excess food will be donated to area non-profits.
