Roseburg, Oregon is home to the Buckeroos (mainstream level dances 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month 8pm to 10:30pm. Every 3rd tip plus. Pre-rounds at 7:30pm.) & Timber 8's (plus level dances 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month September through May 8pm to 10:30pm. Pre-rounds at 7:30pm.) square dance clubs & the Dancing Friends round dance club.

Solo dancers and couples welcome! Modern Western Square Dance is different from the square dance you might have learned in grade school. We dance to a variety of music, from oldies to country to recent hits. Solos, couples, and families will be getting together to socialize, have fun, and practice this easy to learn social dance. It is great mental and physical exercise, too! Don't worry if you don't have a partner, we will make sure to get you in a square. Many of our current members, aged teens to eighties, will be there as "Angels" to help everyone out. No experience or athletic ability required. Beginning square dance lessons hosted by the Buckeroos start every September on Tuesday evenings; casual dress. Join the fun!

Round dance lessons hosted by the Dancing Friends also start every year in September.
