Rotary Club of Saginaw was founded in 1914; the third Rotary club chartered in Michigan and the 93rd in the world. Today there are 34,000 Rotary clubs worldwide.
In our more than 100 years of existence we have helped fund projects in Chile, South Korea, Brazil, India, Haiti, Japan and the Dominican Republic as well as numerous initiatives in our own town. Literacy, clean water and eliminating polio are three of our primary focuses.
In 1925 we founded Camp Rotary, a 1000 acre property in northern Michigan with a,spring-fed lake. We still own the property and lease its management to the Boy Scouts of America.
Our current membership is 52.
