We are a non-profit citizens group consisting of neighbors, naturalist, students, and anyone who enjoys the beauty of the undisturbed woods. Our mission is to foster the awareness and usage of the natural areas at Cummingston Park and the Tenhave Woods at Quickstad Park.

As a strictly volunteer organization, we plan to commit resources into two areas.

A Maintenance team will tackle tasks such as surveying the parks, cataloging plants, trees and birds, defining and maintaining a trail system, and enhancing the overall park experience and safety.

An Education team will focus its efforts on coordinating outdoor programs on topics ranging from wild flowers to bird banding, provide outreach education programs to the local school district and presenting preschool programs.
Together these teams will strive to spread the appreciation and stewardship of nature to our community.
