Our mission is to protect and enhance natural lands, wildlife habitat, and working farms and ranches in southeastern Idaho, now and for future generations.

The Sagebrush Steppe Land Trust (SSLT) works with multiple partners throughout Southeast Idaho.  These partners include landowners, federal and state agencies, local governments, and the public-at-large.  Our goal is to create win-win situations for both private and public interests regarding land and habitat protection.  We support this goal by negotiating easements, land exchanges and land acquisitions within our service area.
