About
The Savage Chamber of Commerce was established in November 1964 as a nonprofit, volunteer organization. It seeks to unite business and professional people who are dedicated to the ongoing development and support of business activities, industrial opportunities, and civic enhancement of the Savage area. The Chamber offers its members a variety of events and programs that offer networking, training, and social opportunities throughout the year. In addition to its involvement with local businesses and government, the Chamber works directly with the community in a variety of ways.
The Chamber serves as a primary source of information for residents, and the multitude of newcomers moving to the city of Savage. Each year, hundreds of "newcomer packets" are mailed to new residents in the city, and additionally, the Chamber produces a city map that is distributed to thousands of residents and newcomers. The Chamber also has donated to significant community projects, like Dan Patch Days, school-to-work initiatives, the city's Christmas decoration fund, and Friends of the Library. The Chamber has over 180 members, represented by over 350+ individuals from local business, education, government, and other various affiliations.
