"Seeking The Things That Are More Excellent"

Being instructed in the way of the Lord and knowing his will, gives us the gracious plus we need to push on and upward towards perfection.  It was Jesus, Our Lord, who said, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."  Matthew 5:48.

This is the great challenge that was given to us and accepted by us many years ago. As we look back seeking to praise God ever, we with renewed vigor sing over and over again, "We have come this far by faith, leaning on the Lord".  The experience now is new continuous, and ever revealing with pleasing promises. God's promises are worthy of standing on while waiting for fulfillment.

We like the beloved-sainted Apostle Paul are left for a purpose and are busy trying to make things come through and true by seeking the things that are excellent. While promoting the Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of man, He writes his people in the Roman Church, "Behold thou art called a Jew, and rested in the law and makest thy boast of God, And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; And art confident that thou thyself art a guide to the blind, a light of them are in darkness. An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and. of the truth in the law. Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest not thyself?" Romans 2: 17-21. Of course we do. Having found excellence, we strive to indoctrinate and teach others out of the pool of excellence those things that are relevant and morally excellent for now and ever.
