Seymour Pink is a community's fight against breast cancer. Located in South Central Connecticut, Seymour is ranked among the top towns in the area for the number of cases of breast cancer each year. It is for this reason that a small town took up a big fight back in 2009 by banding together and wearing pink in support of breast cancer awareness. The idea was to "See More" pink and it has now become an annual tradition for the town from the town officials to the kindergarten students. What started out as a local fundraising effort has now taken the form of a legitimate 501c3 non-profit organization whose membership is growing by the day. Seymour Pink is constantly fundraising to find a cure hosting annual events that include a wine tasting, pasta dinner, golf tournament and of course Seymour Pink Day. This year Seymour Pink will be adding a new event to the mix in the form of a 5K road race called "Pounding the Pavement for Pink". If you have an idea for a fundraiser for Seymour Pink or would like to volunteer for an upcoming event pleasecontact us today.
