Sharon Baptist Church is a church with a rich history. It was founded on July 16, 1846 with 17 charter members. A little country church formed with one main purpose, and it is found in Psalms 29:2, "Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness." For years people have come here to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth.

Pastor Chris Grinstead has a burning desire to please the Savior in all that he does as he directs the church to new heights-- with a broken heart for the lost, a love for the family, and a deep concern for education. Sharon Baptist Church will continue looking to the Lord for direction.

Philippians 1:6 "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:" We are continuing to experience the moving of the Holy Spirit. Daily souls are being saved, and weekly families are being added to the church. We are witnessing the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
