Shelby Middle School would like to welcome everyone to the 2005-2006 school year. Located in the original Shelby High School building, which was built in 1924, the middle school is home to all of the district’s seventh and eighth graders.

While the belief in the middle school philosophy remains strong in Shelby, there are a number of changes to the teams and schedule this school year. Adding reading as a subject to the core academic teams, and continuing quarterly grading periods are two important changes that were kept in place this fall.
