Mission Statement:

The faculty and staff of Shirley Public Schools, in cooperation with parents and the community, will.

Provide the experiences which will enable students to meet or exceed state academic requirements based on scheduled state mandated testing.

Maintain a positive, safe, and nurturing environment which provides all students an opportunity to develop intellectually, emotionally, and physically.

Implement a variety of current proven instructional strategies and tools which may include technology to reach all types of learners.

Utilize academic data and a team approach to better enable the individual student to develop his/her potential.

Provide the tools through a structured curriculum and research based instruction to assist each student with the skills necessary to become self-motivated and productive citizens.
