Mission and Vision

During the past decade, changes in the health care landscape have ushered in new opportunities to meet increasingly high expectations in quality, accessibility, efficiency and patient satisfaction. As University of Maryland Shore Regional Health expands the regional health care network, we have explored and renewed our mission, vision and values to reflect a changing health care environment and our communities’ needs. With input from physician team members, patients, community leaders and other stakeholders, the Board of UM Shore Regional Health has adopted a new, five-year Strategic Plan. 

The Strategic Plan supports our Mission of Creating Healthier Communities Together, and our Vision to be the region’s leader in patient centered health care. Our goal is to provide quality health care services that are comprehensive, accessible, and convenient, and that address the needs of our patients, their families and our wider communities.
