Silt Area Chamber of Commerce
Established in 1998, one of the primary roles of the Silt Area Chamber of Commerce is to advance and improve civic welfare and to advertise and develop the industries and resources of Silt, Garfield County, Colorado and the surrounding area. See By-Laws for further information.
Although the Chamber does not currently have its own location, our long-term goal is to have a permanent home. Once in place, the Chamber will provide a location for all members to place their business advertisements and brochures for distribution to Silt visitors.
The Silt Area Chamber of Commerce has its own Ambassador Program, also known as the "A-Team". This program was started in the summer of 2001 and is comprised of a lot of hard working volunteers. The primary goals of the A-Team are to work closely with the Chamber Board, to offer more visibility in the community for the Chamber, to promote and welcome new businesses in and around Silt and to encourage networking events, such as Business After Hours.
Each year the Silt Area Chamber of Commerce holds elections for officers and Board Members. Newly elected officers and Directors begin their terms as of January 1st.
In addition, a yearly retreat is held toward the end of the year and plans for the upcoming year are discussed and finalized. Please let us know if you would be interested in becoming an officer or member of the Board of Directors. If you are interested in running for one of these positions
