SISTER OF N.E.W will uniquely positioned to help unions, contractor and Developer’s employ more trades women. So N.E.W. will improve Florida’s Construction industry workforce by, preparing reliable, motivated individuals for the skilled trades.
So N.E.W. women will understand the specialized nature of the construction industry and will be familiar with the demands of a career in construction. All So N.E.W. graduates will be evaluated and approved as trades- ready by journey-level trade’s person.
SISTER OF N.E.W. will provide placement service to all women who graduate’s from training. During training, students will be evaluated by journey-level trade’s person and women to determine their suitability for the trades. At the end of training each women decides which trade she would like to pursue. So
N.E.W. will guide the graduate through every step of application. Trades and Employer’s may require interviewing, testing, or additional training before accepting candidate.
Sister of NEW main goal is to get low income women off of government assistance and place them in workforce.
