The Southeastern Massachusetts Pine Barrens Alliance (SEMPBA) is a non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to raising awareness, providing learning opportunities, building partnerships and spearheading initiatives and cooperative efforts to conserve, restore and celebrate the globally rare Atlantic Coastal Pine Barrens ecoregion of southeastern Massachusetts. SEMPBA Volunteers help monitor rare plant populations, support regional conservation groups, engage in environmental education through public events such as Pine Fest (May 17 at the Myles Standish State Forest) and advocate for greater conservation of the natural resources within the region. We invite you to join the Alliance and help save the Greater Pine Barrens of Southeastern Massachusetts.
