Special Olympics Tri-Town, founded in 1980, is a local, volunteer based, non-profit, charitable organization, which contributes to the lifelong physical, social and personal development of people with intellectual disabilities.
It provides year-round sports training and preparation for state tournaments and competitions for children and adults with intellectual disabilities in Meriden, Wallingford, Yalesville and surrounding cities and towns.
Special Olympics Tri-Town depends entirely on contributions from the community to provide sports training and competition at no charge to our athletes.
