The StAR Council (St. Augustine Regional Council)

 

Mission: St. Augustine Regional Council is dedicated to improving quality of life for residents of the area through community outreach, building relationships and discovering local assets.

Purpose: The Purpose of the St Augustine Regional Council, Inc. (StAR) is to support the preservation and furtherance of the St. Augustine/St. Johns County regional area and the public affairs attributable thereto as well as key measures and issues that will promote the image and advancement of the area and the community generally.

 StAR Sponsored Activities:

• Annual StAR Fish Award for Community Service
• Support for Dining with Dignity (Home Again St. Johns) for the homeless
• Charitable contributions from fundraisers (Bratini) to Art Breakers and Pink Heals, local charities
•  Support for cultural arts in the community with the  St. Augustine Chalk Walk
