St. Thomas More University Parish, devoted to worship, prayer and service seeks to bring Christ to the world. We are a diverse Catholic faith community enriched by a special call to serve Indiana University of Pennsylvania and its students.

Evangelization
To increase an awareness of our Baptismal call to evangelization and its expression in our lives by finding ways for people to feel more comfortable with one another and their faith.

Stewardship
To foster an appreciation for our blessings and responsibilities by sharing our time, talents and treasures.

Leadership
To welcome and promote a shared leadership within the parish by developing a process of awareness, discernment, and formation.

Word
To deepen and live our faith by encouraging a fuller understanding of the Gospel.

Worship
To nurture a life of worship and prayer.

To create a spirit of community by providing opportunities for our growth as a parish family.

Service
To advocate social justice and to serve one another, the university and the broader community.

The mission statement and goals of St. Thomas More University Parish were developed by the Parish Pastoral Council following a model developed by the Diocese of Greensburg called New Wine, New Wineskins.
