Suisun Elementary School, home of the Golden Eye Ducks, is a K-6 school on the traditional schedule. We are a diverse community dedicated to enriching children’s lives by stressing academic excellence, promoting, self-esteem, and celebrating cultural diversity. We believe in the power of the partnership of parents, teachers, and students working toward a common goal – knowledgeable, confident and responsible students. We believe that communication is the cornerstone to education as it is embedded in every curriculum area throughout the core curriculum and in all life skills. Communication also includes listening and speaking, the ability to express opinions and feelings, and the ability to solve problems.

Suisun Elementary School is proud of the two years it spent as an America’s Choice School. As part of this design, the staff was trained in strategies that will allow us to teach the grade level standards to all students successfully through the alignment of standards, curriculum, and instruction. The America’s Choice School Design used research-based methods of preventing student failure by early detection, intervention, and acceleration.
