The SunShine Christian Boys & Girls Club was established a year ago in March, 2008,  by Mary G. Grays.  During the past year, we have been having bible classes every other Tuesday, and cleaning up our community, by picking up paper and cans around our neighborhood.   Also during the time we started this club, we have formed a choir, praise team, and softball team.  We participated in the Christmas Parade, here in Vaiden last year.  We hope to help some of our youth go the right way.  Every child we help save, hopefully will help better our community.   I started to give up on this club, but my grand-daughter,  Cordasjah Thomas, encouraged me to keep going.

As of now, we have over twenty members and gaining.  Since we do not have a building right now, we are presently meeting at my house and the recreation park here in Vaiden.  We are looking for an affordable building for the club and with the help of God, and the community, we hope to find one soon.
