Sunshine Strummers

The Turlock Sunshine Strummers are currently meeting at Crane Park in Turlock, California every Thursday from 9:30-11:30. Bring a uke, a music stand, a chair, a bottle of water and your music binder. Strum and sing along with us!

Dan Murray leads the songs and his wife, Kathy, will get you going with an "on loan uke" and a binder with songs if you do not own an uke. She will teach you how to begin playing with one chord, and then you begin to learn others.It's casual and a hands on approach.

Don't fret, it's ok to make mistakes.No one will even notice. That's one of the best parts of learning to play with the group. Due to the popularity of the uke and the fun had by all, the group has grown from a few members to 30 or more.
