About Us :

Templo De La Cruz is a multi-racial, multi-generational church that is a part of the Assemblies of God. Our church is characterized by exuberant worship, dynamic preaching and the freedom of the Holy Spirit. We are located in Hayward, California, in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area.

We offer a wide variety of programs for children, youth and single adults. Your family will be well cared for. We also have ministries that cater to specific needs such as Married Couples, Single Mothers, Senior Saints, Substance Abuse Recovery, Prison Ministry, Bread of Life Soup Kitchen, Food Pantry, Benevolence Ministry and Shut-in’s Ministry. We also offer Athletes for Christ, Island Praise Hula Ministry and Choir ministries that are available.

We are a spiritual clinic for the hurting people of this world. Our passion is to reach the lost, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, minister to the sick and take the Word of God to those who are incarcerated. We take seriously the mandate of our Lord Jesus Christ:

for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.' And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'

We are a missions-minded church that has planted several churches around the San Francisco Bay Area as well as supporting several missionaries around the world. We believe in the spreading of the gospel at home and abroad.

Templo De La Cruz was founded in 1918 by the Reverend Domingo Cruz and continues to be a lighthouse to the community to this day. Here at Templo De La Cruz you will be received with open arms regardless of who you are or where you have been.
