Ten Lives Club is a non-profit 501c(3) cat rescue organization whose presence has been seen and heard in the Western New York community for over 13 years. Ten Lives Club adopts cats out to forever homes, rescues stray cats from the community, and also accepts surrenders of personal pets. In 2012 alone Ten Lives Club adopted out 1,369 cats and kittens into forever homes. Also in 2012 Ten Lives Club took in 1,434 cats and kittens into their program. Over the years our group has taken in cats from out of state hoarding situations, high-kill animal shelters, along with assisting states dealing with emergency natural disasters such as Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Rita, etc. Our mission statement reads, "To further, promote and enhance all cat life" and when we can do so financially we will assist out of state situations when in dire need. No cat leaves Ten Lives Club unless they are spayed or neutered. In 2012 the Ten Lives Club vet staff spayed and neutered 815 cats and kittens. All the cats in Ten Lives Club are cared for by our dedicated staff throughout their stay in the shelter until they find their forever home.
