Founded in 1954, The Academy of Our Lady of Peace is a Catholic elementary school serving children in grades Pre-Kindergarten to 8th Grade. Students come from New Providence as well as surrounding communities and parishes of Berkeley Heights, Summit, Mountainside, Chatham and North Plainfield.

The goal of The Academy of Our Lady of Peace is to develop students who are solidly grounded in moral values and who are respectful, committed, confident, self-disciplined, and academically excellent individuals. We are proud that our students go on to some of the finest private and public secondary education institutions in New Jersey. Our students consistently score well above the national average in every category of Terra Nova standardized test scores.
