Mission: The Mission of the Arts Council of Calvert County is to invest in and encourage the arts in Calvert County.

About Us: The Arts Council of Calvert County is one of 24 county arts councils in the State of Maryland. Each of the arts councils is the entity by which the State provides funding to the counties for the arts. The Arts Council of Calvert County is also fortunate to receive funding from the Calvert County Board of County Commissioners. This funding, in addition to contributions and proceeds from the Spring Gala, allows us to offer grants to arts organizations, as well as nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations and schools offering arts programming. The Arts Council now grants $30,000 each year, based on criteria established by the State.
