Mission:

To promote and Preserve the history of Claiborne County Tennessee.

The purposes of the organization are to preserve our heritage, to collect, restore, and maintain all records, concerning the history of our county and its people.

About Us:

Founded in 1982, we are celebrating 34 years of preserving and researching Claiborne County History.

The Battle of Tazewell and the Candlight Tour are living history events. The Genealgy Jamboree is a resource avenue in which we are able to help people to connect with their family history. 

We are currently engaged in a brick fundraiser to help raise funds for the restoration of the Old Jail and to eventually have a plaza in front of the jail for people to enjoy as they visit this historic landmark.
