The Lester Hospital Story
There are many tales about Lester Hospital, but to the people that experienced them, they are more than just tales. D.E. Jackson Memorial Hopital opened in the early 1940's as a clinic for Lester and surrounding communities. There have been many, many patients pass through the halls of Lester Hospital. Some never left. Lester Hospital closed in the early 90's, but employees have long since talked of strange occurrences within the walls of the old hospital. Employees, as well as patients have experienced thins bing moved and figures being seen the the hallways.
There have also been may tales of paranormal activity in and around the Lester, Alabama community. The figure of a females dressed in a bloo-covered dress is often seen near Todd Lake. A woman said to have the head of an animal has been observed slurping motor oil by Baptizing Branch. This apparition is enormously active in this vicinity; there have been frequent additional reports of this exact spirit.
While all of this happens in the Lester area, the hospital is a central gathering point for much of the activity. A few paranormal area search angecies have been iven access to the hospital for research and have since found it to be a hotbed of activity.
