About Us

For the past thirteen years the Southern Door County School District has proudly presented a school-wide haunted attraction fundraiser held at Quietwoods South Camping Resort in Brussels. 100% of the proceeds have benefited Southern Door students at all grade levels participating in academics, arts, athletics, and other school activities.

We are proud to share that during the past twelve seasons, The Haunted Mansion has raised NEARLY $325,000.00 to benefit K-12 student programming in the Southern Door County School District. This would not have been possible without our valuable volunteers and generous sponsors.

This year's proceeds will once again support academics, arts, athletics, and enrichment activities at Southern Door Schools. We’ve been voted Fan Favorite Haunted Attraction in the Northeast Region by hauntedwisconsin.com visitors for nine years in a row; and were the 2015 recipient of the large group Golden Heart Award for Volunteerism.

Last year’s season brought in a record attendance of over 5,800 guests and involved a record number of 595 volunteers totaling 9,045 hours of service. This incredible group of dedicated students and community members of all ages assisted with construction, painting, costumes, props, acting, make-up, security, concessions, special effects, and publicity.
