Brief History:

The Pankey Institute was founded in 1972 to carry on the work of world-famous dentist Dr. L.D. Pankey. Dr. Pankey received his DDS degree in 1924, then soon began practicing in Coral Gables, FL and lecturing on his Philosophy of Dentistry and the Pankey-Mann-Schuyler Technique.

A group of dentists, patients and friends close to Dr. Pankey were instrumental in creating the Institute in his name. Originally located in downtown Miami, the Institute based its teachings on excellence in dentistry and a deep caring for the patient. Our motto became "quid pro quo," which means "something for something" or an equal exchange.
