Thundering Hooves Ranch is a full service boarding and care facility ideally located in the heart of the Angeles National Forest. Our ranch boasts 100 acres of majestic scenery. This little piece of heaven is located just minutes from Sunland/Tujunga and about 30 minutes northwest of Downtown Los Angeles, which makes us an ideal stop for anyone in the LA area to get outside and ride.

We offer top of the line boarding and full service care. Our stalls come in four different configurations including our state of the art barn with in and outs (with an extra high roof and extra wide breezeway),  mare motels, and two different box stall configurations to choose from. In addition to our boarding facilities, our ranch hosts two different arenas. Our main horse arena is 125 feet by 250 feet! Our ranch also features two large round pens and individual private tack rooms available at no extra charge. Click on the photos below to enlarge.

Additionally, Thundering Hooves Ranch is a place where you can go to learn Driving and Dressage. We offer 3 day eventing (Dressage, Cross Country, Stadium Jumping) services that include training for both rider and horse. Riders can receive beginner lessons with our driving horses up to advanced lessons for riders looking to compete.
