The park and its summer recreational program is traditionally open in late June, but picnic facilities are available prior to this time. The park has 2 swimming pools, a bath house and several restrooms. A large parking lot adjoins and paths lead to the different areas and are handicapped accessible. There is a pond for fishing, pavillions, running water and electricity. Additional attractions include volleyball and basketball courts, fields for baseball and softball and a gazebo where band concerts and weddings are held.
